SYNCHRONIZE using RSYNC

RSYNC is our preferred distribution method, therefore operators of big Mailservers or Providers are recommendet to download the lists instead of using them by dns requests.

Blacklists are offered in RBLDNSD format only.
If you want to use our BLACKLISTS and / or our WHITELIST with other software, you can easy convert it yourself.

To download and synchonize the lists you need a programm called RSYNC, which exists on most Linux or UNIX systems, if you don't have it, you can download it here.

Please synchronize from rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net only, even if you have knowlege of mirrornames or IP's.

This will ensure you will always get updates, even if we would change something.

It is your choice to:
download the full package (UCEPROTECT Level 1 + Level 2 + Level 3 + BACKSCATTERER + WHITELISTED):
rsync -avz rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net::RBLDNSD-ALL /targetdirectory

or selected lists only:
Download UCEPROTECT-Level 1:
rsync -azv rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net::RBLDNSD-ALL/dnsbl-1.uceprotect.net /targetdirectory

Download UCEPROTECT-Level 2:
rsync -azv rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net::RBLDNSD-ALL/dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net /targetdirectory

Download UCEPROTECT-Level 3:
rsync -azv rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net::RBLDNSD-ALL/dnsbl-3.uceprotect.net /targetdirectory

Download BACKSCATTERER.ORG:
rsync -azv rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net::RBLDNSD-ALL/ips.backscatterer.org /targetdirectory

Download WHITELISTED.ORG:
rsync -azv rsync-mirrors.uceprotect.net::RBLDNSD-ALL/ips.whitelisted.org /targetdirectory
