Removal of Level 2 Records

Something you need to be aware of about Level 2:

Your provider didn't act fast enough to disconnect abusers, or has no clue how to install preventive measures against spammers.

UCEPROTECT-Level 2 deescalates dynamic and removes the listed allocation if the number of Level 1 listed Impacts went below a predefined trashcount within the last 7 days.

Level 2 listings are removed automatically and free of charge as soon as they no longer meet the listing criteria in the policy for level 2

To get a netblock out of Level 2, the single IP addresses and their Impacts within that netblock at Level 1 have to be removed.

Normally, only your service provider can request for this.

If you never sent spam, never maintained an open proxy or open relay, but the netblock with your email server’s IP address inside is listed at LEVEL 2, we suggest you send a strong compliant to your service provider, and demand to have your IP address changed to a different netblock that is not known to be a SPAMMERHAVEN.
(Think about it: You’re paying for access / use of the Internet without problems!)

Only your service provider can change your situation.

For quality reasons, however, individual clean IPs that are registered at ips.whitelisted.org are generally excluded from level 2.

You are the service provider and one of your netblocks is listed as Level 2?

DO NOT EXPECT TO GET A FREE RIDE HERE! REMOVAL POLICY IS ALSO VALID FOR YOU!

Listings are done by us, Bavarian municipals and district authorities, and others who use our professional UCEPROTECT products.

Find out, which UCEPROTECT-Servers listed your IP addresses and for what reason:

Checkout which IP addresses listed at Level 1 are causing your netblock to be listed at Level 2.
Just grep the logs (last 7 days) on those Level 1 listed servers for undeliverable outgoing mails at the time displayed. Since our rejection texts are very unique it shouldn't be a big deal to figure out who or what caused the problem and you should be able to take preventative measures not to get listed again in the future.

We expect that you have implemented our 4 Steps against email abuse, which you can find at Help for ISPs, before contacting us.

Should you not have implemented those 4 Steps, we can only offer to remove your netblock (and all IP addresses within that range from Level 1) on a payment basis. The fee for this is per allocation.(This is a real discount compared to end-users, which have to pay per IP.)
However, you must be aware that your netblock may get re-listed if new abuse becomes known, and abusers grow over the traschcount.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN OPTIONAL OFFER ONLY.
YOU ARE LOSING YOUR RIGHT TO EXPRESSDELIST YOUR NET IF YOU ARE STUPID AND CLAIMING THIS WOULD BE BLACKMAIL, EXTORTION, SCAM OR SIMILAR BULLSHIT.

IF YOU MANAGED TO EXCEED LISTING BORDER BY A FACTOR 10 OR ABOVE EXPRESSDELISTING IS NO LONGER OFFERED TO YOU.
YOUR RIGHT TO EXPRESSDELIST YOUR NETWORKS WILL BE ALSO REVOKED IF YOUR ASN IS RANKED WITHIN THE TOP 5 OF THE WORST SPAMMER HOSTERS OR IF WE HAVE REASONS TO BELIEVE THAT YOU COLLABORATE WITH SPAMMERS.

Due to recent events we want to warn you to make a fool of yourself:

Threatening us with legal action is just ridiculous and will have the consequence that your message will be published by us as Cart00ney.
Expect that to cause additional damage to your reputation, so think twice before playing the Cart00ney card.
